Elouise McMillon Ponder

A viewing for Mrs. Elouise Ponder will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the chapel of the mortuary. Mrs. Ponder is the widow of the late Mr. Walter Ponder, Jr. Mr. Walter Ponder, Jr. is well known gospel singer, know to many as "The Thunderbolt of the South". Mrs. Ponder transitioned on December 31, 2025, in New Jersey. There was a celebration of life service held for Mrs. Elouise Ponder in New Jersey, on Friday, January 9, 2026. The interment of Mrs. Ponder will take place following the viewing at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Mrs. Elouise McMillon Ponder is survived by a host of loving devoted relatives and dear friends.
